Bessy and Scarlet were picked up on the streets of Negombo on Cemetary Road on the Christmas Eve 2006. They were alone and frightened and the locals had been throwing fire crackers at them. We picked them up and took them back to our apartment. After a few days we found them both a home.
On this trip we visited Scarlet in her new home, she is living with a lovely family and three others dogs and one of our rescued cows from a slaughterhouse. She looks very well and is full of life and we are so happy that she is now living the life she deserves.
