Stuck in Sri Lanka!! - Appeal for funds
Dear All

Last night we had a phone call from Sri Lanka, Janice Down and 5 volunteers are working in Sri Lanka, they were due to return last week. As it is widely know, there is currently a halt on air travel due to a cloud of vulcano ash, which could be dangerous to fly in. Janice and the team are therefore stuck in Sri Lanka until flights can be resumed. Obviously there will be a backlog of people to get out of the country and the airlines are telling us that it could be another week (or more) before they are able to fly.

We don't normally put out appeals for urgent funds as we think our supporters do a lot and give as much as they can already, a lot of people also support several different worthy organisations. If you do have a few pennies to spare at this time we would be very grateful as all the allocated money for the trip has been spent! The team are doing what they can to make use of the extra time they have been given, and we are busy organising money to be sent over to them.

Please note: we are having problems with our online donations so if you would like to donate please send a cheque made payable to 'Home and Abroad Animal Welfare' to 39 Albert Street, Fleet, Hampshire GU51 9RL

Thank you, Everyone at HAAAW
