Founded early in 1996, in order to relieve the suffering of and provide a wildlife rescue service for abandoned, neglected or injured animals, HART has now dealt with over 4000 cases. Most of these have been cared for in the hospital unit which operates with the support of a fully equipped ambulance for transporting wildlife.
